Town government in Middlebury needs to be restructured.
The town is changing. It is no longer a playground for families that
have been around town forever. No more "good old boys" mentality is
needed. We need a professional approach not a patchwork network of
old rules and regulations.
We need a First Selectman who understands and has experience in
a. Administration
b. Education
c. Unions
d. State government.
We need town leadership that is intelligent and articulate, someone
that can get respect in a meeting, someone well spoken and
knowledgeable. A new administration is just the beginning of what it
would take to drag this town into the present century . A new
administration needs to begin to restructure the town government
along professional lines.
